Wheel identification

Can anyone please identify these wheels? They are 8" and 10" marked in casting Front/Rear, TE8/TE10, L122, AM.

The centre has a look of Revolution wheels. Did they ever make wheels for 'formula' cars?

Revolution did make (and still do) wheels for formula cars- peg drive centre lock as well as stud mounting, but they don't look like the one pictured. The four spokes are a different shape.

The pictured design bears some resemblance to the Ford RS 4 spoke, but again, it's not.

Sorry can't be more help.

Not sure how much attention the thread will get in Chassis History Archive. Maybe one for a moderator to consider moving to Motorsport History?

8.0'' and 10.0'' Brabham post 1966 manufacture , with those sizes probably off
a BT21 / BT28 / BT35 F3 or similar.

more info

The reason for me doubting that they are 1970 Brabham is that the pattern seems too elaborate. The 10" rim has a 3" loc`n bore and 3.875 backspace which is correct for a brabham rear. The 8" has a 3" loc`n bore but the through bore is 2.5" and should be 2.75". The backspace is 4.375 and should i think be 3.875".

They are Ensign, the TE is Team Ensign, L122 is the material, I believe, and AM is Aeroplane and Motor who did a huge percentage of motorsport castings at that time. Hope this helps.
