No, 7 can't do them all, that's why Channel 10 is also showing some of them...

Well, here's hoping. It also brings into the limelight the question of the extra digital channels. That would surely open up the squeeze, wouldn't it?

But the commercial channels are not allowed to use the multi channel functions by showing other programs at the same time.

everyone who is cutting up bout the v8s going to 7 isnt thinking properly. If foxtel doesnt get games (i still think they will), 10 would have to show extra games then what they do now. hence they would have to show 1 maybe 2 extra games, possibley on a sunday. That would clash with the v8s just as much if not more then 7 will. We will get qual r1 and r2 live with r3 delayed and will be seen by 6pm.

From what I heard on the news today, they said ch7 and ch10 would have 4 games each to show over the weekend.

Wow, looks like Mr. Cochrane might have to go cap in hand to visit Mr. Walker. The AGP may be the only event this year that people get to see the V8s at a reasonable viewing hour....
What's the bet that it'll be a packaged highlights after JAG or Stargate or whatever is shown at 11.30pm Sunday nights... |

As been previously posted the clashes arenot that significant with the scheduling of the V8s the clashes have been minimised. Lets wait and see where there is actually a problem. As I see it the times, broadcasting etc of the AFL have not been totally set yet. So all this everyone trying to second guess whats going to happen. Lets wait and see and then and only then we can rant and rave when we see the problems. Has anyone actually looked at the dates and times and worked out how many games/races actuall clash? |

Channel Ten TV coverage of V8's (and all of their motor sport) is absolutly appalling. Channel Seven is the only channel that I like and I trust them and think they will do a very good job. I don't like 9, SBS and ABC because I think they are channels made for old people and I hate Channel Ten but I will not bother repeating my reasons. I don't like pay TV. Can't wait until next year. V8 Supercars will be shown on Channel 7 from 2007-every other year of the series. Last edited by mabs_nsx; 24 Nov 2006 at 03:24. |
