Newman-Haas and KMart
Having heard a rumour that KMart has gone bankrupt. Does Newman-Haas still carry their logos?

I saw a photo of the new car the other day and it didn't have Kmart logos on it.

There's a thread in the NASCAR forum about this... but it doesn't mention the CART cars.

K-Mart will not be sponsoring Newman Haas this season, Apparantly a new sponsor was lined up. Eli Lily, out of Indiana, was thought to be the sponsor, but the announcement hasn't come. Perhaps that deal has fallen through. Nobody's saying much right now.
K-Mart also has only committed to the first three races of the season for it's NASCAR sponsorship, and then they will discontinue that sponsorship as well. Here is a link to that story http://sports.excite.com/news/02012002/v2824.html |
