He definitely cannot continue his racing career. How can you imagine a team will employ such racer with this strange and irresponsible act like this?

Good for MV Agusta! Their statement should carry on the end Fenati's career

I can't see him coming back now. Especially not at any top level bike series. He only has himself to blame for this

I remember this happening to Sete Gibernau on the race up to the first corner back in 2006 when he ran into the back of another bike ! At least this time it didn't have the rider over the top thankfully !!!! And yes he should be thrown out seeing that he has a fair bit of previous aggro !

FormulaFox is heading for a stewards' enquiry!
Fenati has announced he is officially retiring from racing. I think we can accurately translate this to, "he's been justifiably blacklisted."

Surely not !!! he was obviously intending to retire at the end of the season as MV didn't offer him enough money

Back to the racing... shaping up to be another Marquez vs the Ducatis dog fight!

Yamaha need a complete reset. Tear up Rossi's contract and kick out his posse, get new good people in.

Not really expecting any surprises. This has been Honda/Ducati domination this season. Hard to think Yamaha have yet to win

It has certainly formed a pattern at the moment with the front runners, I've no idea what is going on in the Yamaha camp and nor do they it would appear !
Marquez did his usual pushing the envelope in qualifying and I'm surprised that he hasn't been injured doing it (at least he earns his money along with Crutchlow)

Well that was certainly a good race and the last couple of laps certainly kept me from going to sleep.
I think that Lorenzo had brain fade in the heat of the moment as he couldn't believe that Marquez had beaten him into the first corner and asked for too much from his bike whilst still at a fair lean angle.
Like him or loath him Marquez ran a clean race and was a deserving winner !

I dont like him as a person, but I cannot deny the man has talent in bucketloads, and is at times a joy to watch. From the outset he seemed, even when following, to have the race under control. A well deserved win.

Jorge would beg to differ, Marquez caused the crash according to him:

https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/ne...-foot/3182308/

He actually contradicts himself quite neatly in the article, must be all the pain killers!

“Because we were very wide and already the other riders were coming, if I didn't want to lose five or six positions, I had to open the throttle." Lorenzo

Pretty much covers it all.

Was a great race between Dovi and Marquez though.

P.S. Someone on the commentary said there were 165 passes at the Dutch GP.

.
The overhead chopper shot shows it all I was glued to the box all afternoon even though it was 36c yesterday (and today) I think it's a bit different back in the UK though looking at the Brands results

Marquez may be too good, but at least Dovi gave him a good go. I've been really impressed with Dovi the last few seasons, he really gives it his all

Another great race in Thailand. Pity that Jorge was unable to start after his practice crash.

Heart in the mouth stuff on the final corner as Dovi out braked Marqez and was then undercut by Marquez with Maverick having a go to get through too. Magnificent race.

Great battle at the front between Dovi and Marquez and nice to see Yamaha back on pace. We'll see if they can sustain it

No comments on the Japanese race? At least one person got his 5th world title in their premier racing category at the weekend. Well done MM. Just a shame Dovi threw it away after a great battle and Cal looked feisty as ever

I think its because a fair few people are fairly "meh" about MArquez.

As said in other areas, domination does no one any good, ultimately een the guy dominating, as it tends to let people drift away. Thank goodness for Moto3 and 2, GP race was decent, but you knew who was going to win and sorry, but I dont really enjoy that too uch

For my part, I thoroughly enjoyed the race, really tight battle up front and the result was not possible to predict until Dovi lost it. Really great racing, not often you see riders giving 110%.

Really admire Marquez and think he deserves the titles he has won, he was not on the best bike this year, and has beaten a very strong field this year, just look at Danny Pedroso's results on the same bike.
Next year will be interesting with Jorge joining Honda.
I think time will show him to be one of the greatest ever.

Stoner is apparently going to be on Lorenzo's Ducati at Phillip Island, that should be a privilege to watch!
