Should Murphy have ben penalised?
There are other threads where the debate is raging, but a simple show of hands would be interesting.
Should Murph have been given a drive through or not? |

I totally agree with Cromleys comment 110% wrong and they should be hanging their heads in shame
On a similar note, does anyone know why the Lansvale team was fined $10,000? Maybe someone sneezed in the direction of one Craig Lowndes!!!!!!!!!! |

A review after the race with every one having a say would have been the logical way to go about it.

Technically, he whacked him up the arse, was nowhere near the b-pillar, and spun him off the track. Therefore the officials were right to give him a black flag.
BUT, Craig utlimately contributed to his own downfall. This sort of situation will have to be looked at in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. BUT, if after spearing off, Craig rejoined the track ahead of Murphy, why was anything done? |

Murphy was robbed again. Colin Bond & co got it wrong. Were they even viewing the same broadcasts available to the public?

Hands up those who voted yes, that Murphy should have been penalised! What is wrong with you??
Honestly, sometimes all this stuff smells of the blanket rule enforcement inflicted on motorists on the roads. Rulings handed out regardless of individual circumstances. In race situations, the person behind is NOT always automatically at fault like on public roads. Lowndes needed no help to exit, stage right. The car was so unstable and unbalanced that Murphy making contact meant nothing to the outcome of the incident. |

Angry as we are - shall we actually DO something to voice our opinion?
We have done it before here at 10/10ths, but last time it was within the ranks of F1. So why dont we do it for V8's and sign up a letter to CAMS/AVESCO - whomever we decide and ALL sign it. Call it a letter of dispproval? Sure, we know they read these boards, but a formal fully signatured letter says a heck of a lot more. Who is up for it??? |

Would it make any difference? Canberra- pit exit blend line, Skaife/Murphy lap 1 accidental "shove" WA, Skaife/S Johnson 1st cnr Calder "shove", it's a pattern isn't it?

Murphy had it coming - here he is a New Zealander, a Commodore driver, a whinger and basically a pain in the arse. It's good the Stewards are out to ban him. Real good.
That's right I wasn't 'sposed to tell anybody about that. |
