I think what's so disturbing is that Bauble has those images to hand. His Google search history must be very worrying.

Love the white Anglebox but the green Auto Onion could haunt me for several nights!

Sacre bleu! I believe the DKW "Auto Onion" is the / a car similar to that which Jim Clark drove in his first ever (unexpected) race back in 1956.
In fact I found the story of that here: https://charterhall.weebly.com/1956.html |

Interesting series of event reports there. Some names I remember from the early 1960's. I saw George Percival drive a big engined 105E Anglia many times at Croft and Rufforth. He was the 'Per' in Perdal (the 'dal' being Dalkin) who were based in Newcastle and they raced many Fords, mostly Anglias and then Escorts, but also a Mk 1 Cortina that had a concave roof - probably made of very thin aluminium. In the early days they were all painted a lurid green colour and all had large capacity Ford engines up to 1960cc. Pioneers in this part of the world of large throw cranks. The cars were always fast but often fragile. Later they sponsored Graham Birrell's BDA Escort that was more reliable. Also Jimmy Blumer, Malcolm Wayne and Ron McCutcheon were well known names in the north. |

Nice diverse selection of cars there Bob. Love the Healey Silverstone, and the D50 is a car I have always liked. In fact I have a die cast version of it on my desk.

I can spot a few engines there.
Diva GT is a pretty little thing but absolutely tiny, undrivable for anyone over average height. Minnie the Minx was the first 1600 ( 1590cc) Rootes engine I built, it beat all the 1725's . . . and got the car out of the same class as the Zodiacs. Ed&Chris Glaisters 100E has been a family hack and rally/race car for nearly 50 years! and the Riley 2.1 OUMF which was once the late Richard Cross 1.5. It's probably a bit of both Baub. Great cars that you enjoy watching and ones they don't make like that anymore
