Alan Green should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Donington 6/11/04 - Thanks BRSCC/EERC

Just a note of thanks to the BRSCC & EERC for their contributions to marshals welfare at the Britcar event yesterday.

Sandwiches, T-Shirts, pot noodles, biscuits, choccie bars, drinks all provided at sign on, with hot water and more sandwiches delivered later in the day.

Also, some excellent racing provided by the EERC with the Britsports, Open (more GT races like this next season please! - SRO take note), and Britcar night race providing exciting racing (and incidents).

We don't ask for much, but big grids and a few bits and pieces to keep us going goes a long way. Thanks very much

Al.

Paul Newns should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I missed this meeting last year but I've got to say it was a good day this year. Just one suggestion, if we're going to have races in the dark can we please have illuminated numbers. Not only will it help me report cars doing silly things I may even know what the Hell is going on. There may have been some excellant racing but all I know is that there were headlights diving past other headlights, but lapping or racing I haven't got a clue.

Also, I'd like to add my thanks to BRSCC for the packed lunch, and especially bringing the hot water round for the pot noodle. It was much appreciated by all of us on post.

One car had reflective backing to its number, it should be compulsory for all cars, atleast we could have told race control who was dropping the anti-freeze on the pace lap!

Much easier awnser to this. we must revert to natural instincts, if its dark get out of race cars and go to the bar, ok suffer marshals hero stories (we will suffer those if marshals buying), but after 5 pints who cares.
I am of course joking and await dels reply lol.................................

PS I'm up for the 24 hr race next year, just plan on driving the daylight bits of it lol
