Doubt it. They were saying at the start of the month that it was another 2-3 weeks for the gearbox to arrive.

I can't see AG standing for this next year, I can see limited driver changes being introduced.

If there is chance a NGTC car is left on the sidelines , they would rather allow any old pedlar in , there isnt any other series in the country that would have a class for NGTC !

I do like the misconception that team Hard are givin chance to Youngsters , its the size of the budget thats allowing it

I should have wrote new Talent,, its obvious its about getting the car out for the rest of the season, which is fair enough , but it certainly looks like a team in trouble, not to have planned from the start to finish the season, there is History in there for the key figure of the team if you look back through his racing career, hes always run out before seasons end .

But its a cash strapped enviroment so he has achieved a lot I suppose

Base boost is a bit of a pity, Silverstone is very much a power circuit.

It's a bit rubbish when it's to stop any ringers coming in and interfering, but prevents someone new getting the chance to show off their potential. Having said that, Mike Bushell did well with it at Knockhill. Totally different style of track though.

Quick question, will Tom Onslow-Cole still run on base boost? As it's the car's third outing including Croft.
Do they have to do two events in a row with the car before getting a boost increase and has the fact that TOC changed car and team have an effect on the situation?

I'm sure he will be on base still. As it's applied to him for swapping cars.

Interesting, amusing tweet went out from a journo yesterday that may tickle your fancies, that I think is slightly relevant...

"It's a mathematical certainty that everyone with a racing licence will have driven for Team HARD by the end of 2016 #BTCC"

..well it amused me anyway

TOC will run on base boost until the finale. Seeing as Caine was the other driver...

with Silverstone being all about boost and least important driver skill and chassis I think we can really see the likes of Welsh, HARD , Speedworks for a podium perhaps

we all remember what a farce it was last year

Suspect Honda are busy fitting large, taxi style mirrors as we speak..

RAR and Airbase (Smith and Jackson anyway) will be on the pace too I suspect.

Not technically correct CC!

TOC was on a LOWER boost than everyone else!

The lower boost is for a new entry, the CAR, not the driver!

Ironically Andy Wilmot, who drove TOC's Passat had normal boost!!!

Thanks for that. It's all a bit of an unknown to the general public. I was just going by the fact that James Kaye and Warren Scott had to do a couple of events with base boost due to them swapping cars.
