Heard yesterday that Tom has purchased PWR race team off Kees Weel.

Anyone else heard this?

Sounds like here we go again, if it is true, are the powers to be at v8$upertaxi australia going to let HRT(Uncle TOM) run 3 teams out of one shed AGAIN and stop Birtek from going testing.If it is true does it mean Holden are running the $upertaxi series.Time will tell

They'll just produce the paperwork showing Skaife owns one, John Kelly one and Walkinshaw the other, just with some common backing......that will clearly show they are seperate teams, unlike Britek and FPR

Mobil or Holden? Mobil are currently "rebranding" as they choose to call it, Losing lots of servos as others choose to call it. I have been told they are cutting back on all Sponsorship and this is from a franchise owner or should i say ex franchise owner. Performance Fuels in Newcastel is Mobil for a large part of NSW and has undergone a restructure as well, some of the servo's they supply are now wearing a different name. If it wasn't for their oil sales there is a possibility of Mobil getting out of Australia.

They have just knocked on the head the restarting the moth balled refinery in South Australia.

Brisbane Terminal now shut down and the land being sold off (they share with the BP terminal)

The Port Stanvac issue won't lie down for Mobil though. The amount of money it's costing them to "clean" the area so it is usable for anything is massive.

Don't think that will happen - it's turned out to be one of the great SA attractions and now march is full of Go Man Go!! Mind you if Olsen was still running the show anything could have happened - we are still suffering the panoz case with the LeMans series cancellation and ensuing court case - don't know the exact status of that

You know im surprised Bright hasnt just signed over Britek for the short term whilst hes at FPR....Im sure theres a way he can still own the team without actually "legally" owning it.
