Was thinking who hasn't announced calendars yet. MRL, MGCC, FJ, HGPCA, Masters? The last of these will be same main events as this year, except Dijon will be replaced by a different mainland Europe meeting- somewhere haven't been before! One UK meeting will move date as well.

GTSCC still have to announce the last of their dates, again should have been at Dijon. It won't be at l'Age d'Or as same weekend as Snetterton 3hrs.

Glimmer of hope for AIA Portimao- they have enough cash to advertise the circuit in Autosport this week! No suggestion of any historic meeting in 2014 yet, discounting the proposed 24 hr Pre War race.....

June 7th Donington park (Nat)

June 28/29th Brands Hatch (Indy Sat, GP Sun) GTSCC joining in on Sunday.

Six weeks ago they were not going.Obviously changed their minds.

It's a good meeting for the organisers who pay per car .

Dispite the hotel room thing it's an expensive place to race.

They have eleven months to change their minds again!

Says Pre 66 GT Cars in association with Chopard. That'll be GD then?

Yup. Don't imagine Masters are that impressed with the (again) long winded race title, but sure they will take the slot!

Although in 2011 they ran GD and GTSCC in separate races IIRC.

which, other than GD being a broader church, is a bit same/same. I guess Masters were prepared to stump up the cash. Does that mean Silverstone Classic have announced their races? If so is there anything for for pre66 (or better still pre 63) Saloons?

Have a look here:

Yes, it did seem a bit strange. I guess with the popularity of the Supertouring cars there's less need for another older grid.

Silverstone Festival is a very expensive place for the actual race organisers.

To many layers want a bit of the margin.

Pre 63, GD and E Type challenge in 2011.

GTSCC at the nicer Silverstone International circuit meeting next year, as they were 2013. "The right crowd and no crowding" sums it up nicely!

Yup, that came through yesterday. Interesting to note the HTCC calendar. Seems there are options for that series.

I know they are supposed to be joining Masters 70s Celebration cars somewhere, but I think that series in itself is still a bit 'fluid' at the moment. Donington, most likely, and possibly Brands but would be on Indy....

Some good news from the Delta camp . My PR man code name Cirrus tells me I only have one date clash so far for 2014. When Bernie reads this I'm sure it will all change
