I'm going to be watching with interest to see how many turn up for the race. It's the first time in a long, long time there has been a major open wheel event in NZ.

Look foward to this event.
Kudos to New Zealand, Taupo and A1 for hosting this event at a permanent race circuit. Might have to make the trip over for the 2008 installment |

Under two weeks to go and I am starting to shake with excitement whenever I think about this event. The good news just keeps coming, there are three participating sponsors confirmed and a title sponsor to be announced next weekend.
http://www.stuff.co.nz/3920992a13275.html And how awesome was that PR stunt of driving over the harbour bridge? Brilliant! BTW the new official web site doesn't have too many images. If anyone can tell me where to find a wallpaper sized image of New Zealand's win at Sentul please let me know. Cheers, Kiwi3 |

Final touches are now being put in place, the image on this article is from the grandstand I will be sitting in, a bit annoyed to note that there is a drag strip between me and the track, hopefully it is not too far away!
Still, looking forward to this like crazy! http://www.dailypost.co.nz/localnews...ondsubsection= The link is quite long, in case it does not work later the story is from www.dailypost.co.nz Kiwi3 |
