Love this meeting. No GTSCC this year?

I read the DBR1-4 that was involved in a nasty, multi car shunt at Quarry several years ago will be at te circuit for this event

Just six entries for the FF race. Pretty poor show from HSCC again

Revised timetable : http://www.ccracingclub.co.uk/assets...19-V2-Word.pdf

Back in Howard's day he would have binned a 6 car race. Best CCRC can do is move it to first qually and race, giving spectators more time in the morning to wander the paddock and a longer lunch.

I always used to enjoy the double header when they combined their finals day with the autumn classic a while back, it made the trip worthwhile but 2 separate stand alone events don't appear to work very successfully for anybody and sadly this weekend looks like washout in more ways than one.

It works for me – a fabulous meeting and I'm looking forward to it enormously, even with the odd thin grid. Hope the sun shines this year for a change.

I've been to every CC classic, supporting my local circuit, and will be there again next weekend. As long as the other grids are decent then all will be well.

Due a dry Classic surely

:I'm not knocking the classic, It was just an observation of mine. I've always loved Combe, I was there for the club finals a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy this weekend, at least the weather forecast has improved.

Fully agree. One poor grid won't spoil a great day at a great old circuit. Just seems HSCC can't get support for any place they have guest grids

I think it depends on the series.

There may be some late entries I suppose.

Entries in some championships seem to have moved from feast to famine this year.

I do think this year's calendar has not worked for the HSCC. Using FF1600 has an example, any driver wishing to do the full championship, plus this non-championship race would be at a meeting once a fortnight from mid May to late October. It is a big ask.

I was really tempted to go on Saturday but the £25 entry combined with a 250 mile round trip is a bit off putting for me.

Anyone seen an entry list? They normally put them up on the castle combe racing club page.
