garybirch should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ever heard of the MitJet Series?

Just watched a programme on Motors TV about a racing series called MitJet. It looks like it's a French series but I wondered if anyone had ever seen them or know if they're over here in the UK at all? I'd love to marshal them.

Apparently they're like miniature versions of some well known cars: BMW M6, Porsche 911, Dodge Viper, Renault Megane and Seat Leon. All cars are based on a tubular chassis using a Yamaha 1300 XJR engine that produces 150 Hp.

See here for more details!

Always thought "baby grands" were pianos - guess they were automatic as they only got two pedals

Didn't the baby grands run a few demo laps at Mallory? Can't remember if it was last season or the season before. I thought they were quite entertaining even though it was only a demo. Bet they are fun to watch around a short oval.

I've seen them a couple of times on Motors TV & I too like watching them but don't think they've ever run in the UK, surely someone would have put a thread up about them if they had.

What a day it would be too have Caterhams, Legends & MitJets all running on the same day.

Similar to the MitJet is the Brazilian Stock Jr. Its a rebodied Legend.

I think baby grands / mascars are a little different mechanically
