While We here, any suggestion to solving the dust problem at Blyton, I know its an age old problem in RallyX. I personally think they need to service the whole circuit, and sweep the tarmac straights clean as it stands there is loose dust the full length of all the tarmac straights which is blown up during racing.

Try a rain dance

Failing that can't they just water the circuit?

From what i can gather, theres no practice on Sunday....just a 9.00 start with the 1st qualifying heats for Modified and Supercar.

The 1st heats for Juniors ,Minicross and Stock Hatch are going to be held on the Saturday after the free practice session.

If you want your money's worth get there for 9 on Sunday!!

I think there will be practice, not all teams are there on saturday, so i think they will have to offer some like b4. Even if it is only behind a pace car. Maybe upsidedownbug could shed some light if he pops in.

I thought before any practice or racing could take place we needed to have scrutineering. Surely that's on Saturday??

And i cant believe that they'll split the scrutineering and do the Mods and Supercars on the Sunday.

All the juniors/minis/stockhatch will have to be there on the Saturday for the first heats anyway.

OK definitive answer.

Saturday - practice for all classes from 1400, first heats for juniors, minis, stocks and Nat B from 1530.

Sunday - start 0930. No practice is planned, but all circumstances will be covered if absolutely necessary.

All scrutineering is due to be done on Saturday (drivers sign on from 1130)

Entries - usual suspects in supercars with the addition of Helmut Holfield, Tony Bell and Rob Gibson. 11 cars in all. Modified, only 11. Interesting returnee, Dave Ward. I suspect the full list should appear on the BRDA website soon.

See you all there on Saturday.

Good to see Mike Howlin has managed to get the fiesta fixed after the Lydden accident. Also interesting to see Dave Ward back - in the new car? I guess there are still more entries to be added, if not that'a a depressingly small entry for the modifieds.

No Mcann or Manning in the supercars either, presumably Manning still has no engine?

I know i'm cynical but do you reckon Dave Ward's appearance in his old Corsa might be something to do with the up and coming Grand Prix event? Maybe he's trying to put his face in for selection for the GB Internations Cup team. Personally i hope so because we could really do with him!!

Anyone online been to Blyton today?

Trying to decided whether to make the long drive from East Sussex for the Sunday part.

How far through 1st runs did they get today, and is the entry list much different to that already posted on 10-10ths? And is it still a 9-30am start time?
