Russell Hunter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
MGCC Donington

I will be racing my red MG B GT car number 3 in the Cockshoot cup on Sunday
Some of you may know me from Marshalling at Oulton and Anglesey.
Come and say Hi and or give me a wave from the bank.
This is my first ever race at Donington so look after me pls ;-)
I will be Marshalling the Gold Cup at Oulton on Monday so busy weekend in prospect and really looking forward to it

Track layout

Do you know what layout we wil be using on Sunday ie is it full circuit with hairpin or are we using foggy esses?

If I recall correctly it's the National circuit, ie. the shorter of the two. With the Esses. And the aforementioned BIG CONCRETE KERBS...

Well that was a fun day, wasn't it? Well done to the MGCC for getting so many additional bodies out trackside, the couple we had at post 23 thoroughly enjoyed themselves being involved in a way they hadn't before (ex racers). They learned a lot... and maybe they'll be back.

Excellent racing, mostly clean, with surprisingly little contact. Except for the Metro race of course!

Russell, I hope your day was OK. I think your car may have had a ride over that kerb at one point (although I may be mistaken as lots did, I should have held the phone line to R/C open in one race). If so I hope you didn't jar your olives too hard :-)

That's it for me at Donington this year. Rockingham and Silverstone await!

Guys/Gals in Orange
I had a fantastic day and even picked up a 2nd in Class Trophy :-)
Bit of carnage to avoid in first corner but well managed
I Love Donington What a track!
Thankyou to all the Marshals appreciate the support
Off to Oulton now Marshalling Gold Cup albeit very tired as 6:30 am now
