What he said, Veach is done. He pranged multiple cars and then collected almost the entire Andretti team at Gateway, not things likely to get you hired. And sounds like (reportedly) his backers of Gainsbridge have stayed on with Andretti and left him behind. Sounds like he's out of the series and see what off track career he has ahead of him.

Veach has been pretty mediocre, especially this past year. He has 4 top 10s in his past 28 races (his 2019 and 2020 starts) with only 1 top 10 in his past 16 starts. Not a surprise that he’s probably out of the series.

The way I read this, this is just for the 2021 season. Hope so as well. It's a big enough event it loses something in itself by ending the season. (Though will be happy enough to have it at all)

The article doesn't say it is and it doesn't say it isn't. If the rescheduling works out with these three races on the west coast, I don't see why the schedule shouldn't remain.
