Yeah been watching Bathurst channel as well.

Mate I reckon V8SC outta fund a car for Greg Murphy each year, he's always been such a legend around the place. Even in cars that didn't belong up front he's somehow up there top 5 fighting for the win. I think his last Bathurst was with Courtney or Tander and he ended up hitting the wall (and was the only driver to crash in the whole race). Such a shame to end his Bathurst career like that. It must have been this one that's on right now (2014).

I'd also forgotten how many Bathursts Whincup has lost for some reason (bad luck or a silly mistake like the McLaughlin incident and the fuel running out). I really hope he doesn't have the kind of dominance he had last year at this place, and Sandown even. He was mighty last year, like 1 sec a lap faster than anyone, even Shane.

Im not disagreeing with the gist of your comment.

But in the grandstand there is no gorilla cage
Its not muddy.
Your seat is reserved all weekend and so you can turn up at the track whenever you want and leave and come back
Big Screen for action
Still see Hells and even Murrays
The rest is the same though and you still have to walk to Hell's for the dunny

Have a spare grandstand seat for anyone interested, PM me discount price, (under $200) pick up from track/Bathurst on Friday(or later)
