Hyundai excel livery

hi guys,

Ive been looking through this section of the forum and its great.
im currently building a Hyundai excel sports sedan and am getting
close to the paint stage and i am quite stuck with a paint
scheme so would you be able to help me out with some ideas since
your fantasy league liveries are awesome and along the lines of what
im after.

sorry if ive put this in the wrong section but just wanted to get some suggestions from people who can actually design a livery

Thanks for any ideas

Do you have some photos you could link to this thread for the artists to take a peek at?

There were several Excel models... and if yours is a sports sedan, the silhouette is not likely to be representative of a standard road car

It has a sr20de under the windscreen The front of the engine is level with the firewall.
Heres a bit of a rundown of the car
-Nissan sr20de
-Alcon brakes all round with wilwood floating rotors
-Steel and molly chassis and cage
-Fiberglass body apart from the roof
-Holinger h6s
-Wilwood pedal box
-Fabricated uprights
-And many hours in the shed.

heres a recent pic with the front off

I have been talking to a sponsor "Lightning cleans" and they have said to paint the car in a hrt red and incorporate there logo in to it. here is a picture of there logo on the tank. Any suggestions

PSP just shut down againg half way through (the 5 millionth time it's happened. was looking abit crappy anyway. sorry.

just a thought, it might look good if you transfered the background design of the sticker onto your car.

no i kept it simple for that reason. if you use the design could you just put the logo i use in the middle of the template on the car somewhere just a smallish one. post some pic's when it's painted.

Hey Pro if you have some spare
time i had a chat to lightning cleans
and they didnt like the black on the sill, spliter, bonnet, bumper
to much. They were more interested in it being yellow.

Could you please modify the livery

Sure ill definitely post a pic when its painted

personally i like the black better as i think the it makes the Lightning logo stand out more and i think it goes better with the red. also added my logo to it, you can put it anywhere though.

pro we have built the car up as an under 2 litre and will run it in the victorian under 2 litre sports sedans and the vic state sports sedans.

Once weve reached the potential of a 2 litre and the thing goes well, depending on weight we will re-engine the car with either, sr20 turbo 975kg
350z twin turbo 1200kg or a dodge/chev/toyota 2007 onwards nascar engine 1125kg. Once we have done this we will run the national series

I also have one other sponsor/business that will be shared half half with lightning. I dont think our logo will be to hard to incorporate into your livery.

The yellow makes it look a bit like a PMM car

Pro if we get a livery out of this your logos on the car

Heres the other logo that has to be on the car, maby the riverside racing on the doors because the lightning will look out of place on the left door (wrong taper on the writing)

Thanks again pro its much appreciated.

I might be pushing my luck now but pro would you be able top put the riverside racing logo on the door instead of the lightning.

Everyone ive shown the livery to thinks it looks great so at this stage its a keeper.

Cheers Liam
