former f1 team owner gerard larrouse has been handed the job of helping develop the Ferrari 550 Maranello GT project for next year.
the car failed to finish a single race this year and the Italtechnica preparation company that they used in 2000 has been dropped and they are currently looking for a new company to help them develop the car.

Larrouse will only be there on a consultancy basis but his main job is to turn the car into a winner.

The team plan to run a 2 car team in the FIA GT championship in 2001 with Jean Denis deletraz and fabien Giroix expected to stay as the lead drivers but Julian bailey has been rumored to drive the second car after recently being dumped by the Lister team.
