Gallardo is having fuel flow problems. Typical New-Caritis stuff. Believe it was excluded from P1 due to some problems with the Dorian timer.
Was third fastest though, did about a 29.1 in the session. |

sounded nice, but nothing will top the 360GT mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
good turn out, just needed a viper or two out there. I was also expecting the Diablo GTR out there as hackett wants to chase the 07 series? maybe hiding from the Gallardo after all natrad racing have turned theres around in less than a week |

That said considering its Thursday, some of the participants might have commitments mid week, Friday Qualifying might give a better representation. All in all though silver, a championship with such "narrow" eligibility guidlines to have 26 cars is encouraging. I hope you enjoy the racing |

Twenty something cars is a good field. We all know there are good cars on the way, we also know teams that run in this series are often self-sponsored entries, so of course there will always be entries that are no shows. Whats the big deal ? If the teams had supercar budgets then no-shows would be a different story. I hope at some stage in the year we see a Viper, we see a JB Ferrari, we see a Team Lambo Gallardo.. but the field at this point, will put on a good show at Clipsal anyway. |

well at least 2 will be putting on a show going by the times
can we blame development for the 430 and gallardo (understandably) being so much slower than the 997 cup's |

Good effort from David Wall to put in pole-- now he can drive a car! And he did not hit half the field in the process. |

It is more of a wish list by them-- it is then used to justify their own inadequete performance. Similarly when the "sign" a sponsor to a 2 cent deal and it is puported to be a big deal. All to sell their performance to the naive. |

Top 3 in qualifying Wall, Simonsen and Washingon. Followed by Hector Lester and John Tuelan.
Conspicuous by their absence were Hackett and Crick. Silver is it misrepresentation by series management if cars are entered and teams do not turn up. It might just be me but that lays at the feet of the team not management. |

As for GT Series, I'm sure Crick has a legitimate reason for not being there, as would TLA because their new car hasn't arrived. These things can't be helped. Besides, who cares, move on mate, enjoy the racing between the three marques @ the front of the field, I for one am looking forward to it. |
