I found it interesting that of the front 3 teams, only Bentley split the strategy. Both BMWs ran slicks, all Audis ran wets. Bentley ran one car on each. Odd decision especially from BMW.

Tbh, I hope the BOP for the Mercedes is brought down a bit. This race has been brilliant having nobody run off. The BoP for every other car is spot on.

Even if WRT/Phoenix are back-timing their stops, losing 15 seconds a lap is not going to work out for them. I get the gamble, but it didn't work out so it's time to change.

If all things go well at least one Belgian should be winning this race.

Edit - Rain ... but have the tyres already worn out too much?

What would certainly kill Audi was a change back to slicks and then back to wets.
I *think* they wanted to avoid that extra stop, for they will probably have to take new wets.

Whats the story with this mandatory 5 minute stop? BMW came into the box for a brake change but was in there for less than 5 minutes.

Engel is an arse. He's lucky Mercedes were even allowed to race.

As much of a star as Sims has been, Soucek has been his equal. They've both been fantastic.

Soucek badly caught in traffic, Sims can take advantage if he's brave about it.

Vanthoor is flying, fastest driver on track and handily catching Rosenqvist for 3rd. Had WRT made the right call before they could be in 3rd and (just) on the lead lap right now!

Yeah I normally like Haven but he's been a bit difficult for this one.
