4th car, you mean, alongside Webb.

They have talked to a few people about adding an extra license to the mix and running a 4th car, so it isn't impossible.

IMO Fiore could do alot worse then link his mob up with DJR, he has the same chassis plonk a DJR powerplant in it and with some DJR brains tuning it he might get some good resaults. just my opinion.

Talk at QLD said that that was the case. Can't do much worse than the Fiore sponsorship effort apparently.

Fiore seems to pay his bills though.

The family firm must be big to run a naked Main and Development Series car?

A main game car in the "plug n play" environment, where chassis bits come from the car's builder (i.e. 888) and the engines from a proven performer (i.e. KRE) and gearboxes & diffs from someone else in the game (reportedly DJR ) has been shown to cost something in the region of $1.6m per season.

As long as you dont tear the car up too much...

If the REC Income is at the suggested $850k for 2010, the net cost of the main game car is ~$750k/season. Across 15 events, this suggests that the per-round cost for the main car is ~$50k/car.

Now it might be a stretch, but perhaps the consolidation of the various round sponsors could approach this number, on the few rounds that they have managed to achieve a title sponsor.

So perhaps it might cost the FFF organisation ~$20k a round... if you do the maths, its cheaper than buying a ride in the Fujitsu series (ignoring capital costs of course)... and may go some way towards explaining why the crowd at nexusmg were trying to sell full series title sponsorship for the main game car at around the $460k mark earlier this season... albeit unsuccessfully

Where in any of the last 3 pages does it mention anything about;

- Caruso going to FPR
- Besnard wanting another full-time ride
- Cameron McConville wanting to come out of retirement
- Jeld-Wen wanting to come back
- LDM closing up.... they just spent all summer getting it all together for this year to give Lucas a future, i hardly see them selling up already
- Since when has Owen Kelly had a higher profile in Australia than Tony Ricciardello

Where will Wilson Security go in 2011?

They have been kinda everywhere...

To me, this seems a slightly scatter gun approach... the article attached seems to suggest that the sponsor wants 100% signage ownership of a car, which they do not currently enjoy. I wonder then if the sponsor shall pony up a commercial rate for the entire space?

How much more of a car do they want? This years #47 is fairly identifiable as a Wilson Security car

Well, if I were to imply logic to the situation with Wilson Security, could we see Mr Fiore become the 4th driver with SBR with Wilson Security becoming the title sponsor for both cars #47 and #12?

What do you see when taking a look at this?

From the side it is definitely a Wilson Security car. From the front, it looks cluttered, with branding from a number of other sponsors, necessary to keep the lights on, but not 100% Wilson Security focused.

The Lucky7 brand is highlighted, so is East Coast Traffic Solutions, Doric Products, Ford, AstronTech, Fuchs and so on.

An 888 Vodafone car is a Vodafone car from every angle, because it has been designed that way, for a sponsor that appears to be paying full freight for the space.

Granted Lucas is only young, but not the smartest way to conduct business, particularly coming a week after dumping their rookie driver. By all means he is entitled to explore all of the options, but it should be done in private not through the press.

It may be a great way for him to get uncle tom to cut the price a little on his services? Stranger things have happened.
