Mygale FF Chassis Evolution Question

Hello folks,

I race a F2000 car in Canada and am looking about moving over to the more competitive FF1600 series in the next few years and am just evaluating chassis options. I'll likely run Kent power with possible Honda conversion as budget allows.

It seems that the Mygale seems to be a solid contender in the UK but only a few cars are running around North America now. Our Canadian FF1600 cars run a radial street tire (Toyo Proxes) which, at least to my ignorant eye, looks similar to the Avon run in the UK. So they should have a similar handling characteristics and relative performance envelope.

1) Could someone provide a summary of the chassis evolution?
2) Is it possible to update older chassis (e.g. 00 spec to 08 spec)?
3) What are the key differences from year to year?
4) Are there any chassis years known to be particularly good/bad?

Cheers, Alex Zeller

FYI. I'm sure any information in this thread would provide a great summary for newbies like me.
