No Dan Welch. Surely in the case of driver injury, they should have to have a substitute?

I just assumed it was related to his Porsche crash a few weeks ago - seems not. Unlucky, indeed.

I think these races and even this season could be a Honda walkover if their engines have been "fixed". The Honda has always been regarded as having the best chassis and the best brakes, the only issue was the engine that was gimped by TOCA. So if its true that they have been given a 0.6 bar increase, well, we will see I guess.

Dan Welch hasn't really had any luck since what, 2012 where he ran well. 2013 he got hurt and well last year, no need to comment and this year hasn't started very well fitness wise either. Hopefully their engine woes are behind them...

So Ingram is fastest in FP1 from Neal and Cook.

I wouldn't really view it as an increase, more that they are back to the correct level of boost for the power they generate. The increased ballast should result in a good mix of results for all, with the cars that carry weight well having a better consistency.

Hard to read much into it from that session, as teams dial in on a drying track.

There was a video on facebook earlier of cars leaving the pits for FP1. In that it looked like all four BMR cars had the same livery as at Donington without any additional sponsor logos on them. The quality was quite poor though.

Thank you. When I went to donnington that's all I was bothered about was who there sponsors were and they roled out full black. They must have some backing surely warren Scott surly can't afford all the backing. Maybe race day sponsor unveil

Turkington's car has his personal sponsors on it.

BMR have uploaded some images. Turkington's seems to be the only one with any significant sponsorship.

Turks is just mega , could fancy him winning him title again without supposed "RWD advantage"

Hondas are back near the top, Jordan rather disapointing so far

Priaux great pace too but with missing Rockingham he can't really mount a title challenge
