I'll be the flag marshal

See you there (rather than the stupid overmanned meeting down the road!)

I would - but I have no transport at the moment, and it's a long walk from here!

Presumably Roy will be in race control and on the gantry so all we need now is one person to cover assembly and we're sorted!

Oh. Who's writing reports?

I'll be the "do whatever's needed" marshal. As long as it's not Assembly. Definitely not with Minis on the bill. They won't remember 4 years on, will they?

Looks like even the drivers are avoiding it. The Ma5da's look to have pulled out so there is now a lot of free practice in the morning for the other championships that are there. Which is a shame as they always give good close racing.

Well Saturday was fun. Al got another major to deal with, Paul got to call in 4000 or so "4 wheels off" moments, Terry had assistance in the pits and I was banished to the wilds of post 4. Must try harder tomorrow to tap the cars I'm blueing

My anti-magnet was in full working order again: a grand total of 0 incidents at post 10a all weekend (apart from a handful of overshoots & spins). Is that a first? Even the 500 that pulled off in qualifying was able to return to the paddock without assistance.

That anti-magnet provided me with lots of chances to get the blue out Judging by the reaction of the winners of two races I must have got at least two opportunities right!

Great weekend, perfect weather if a little chilly when the clouds huddled over the sun. I've come away hankering after one of those Global GT Lights though, so there was a downside.

Was good to meet some folks at last (Tony and Nina) and catch up with some people I haven't seen for ages. See y'all back at Rockingham next year!

Thank you to all the marshals that came to Rockingham for our last meeting there this year... I think we had most types of incidents that were dealt with well... Brscc midlands still have one meeting left to run this year... That is this saturday at Silverstone where we run on the International circuit we still could use some marshals at all disciplines .. Email me on roys1@blueyonder.co.uk if you're available..
And to the few marshals above please open your own thread... Lol
