Welcome to ten-tenths You will find that such a question will provoke a reaction.
My feeling is that we won't. F1 doesn't need JV (or more precisely no top team needs JV) and JV does not need F1. Although part of me would like to see it. |

There is an interesting Nigel Roebuck article related to this in this week's ask Nigel feature on the Autosport website: http://www.autosport.com/featuresask...=26154&s=5&l=2
It is written in English, which is also the language of the forum |

Such insightful comments on the Jacques enigma -
Jacques was the guy in '97 that drove round the outside of M Schumacher. Anybody done that lately? Jacques is a talent of the first order. He just needs to realise that that ain't enough. This isn't called a team sport for nothing. |

Well at the moment it's a very hypothetical argument isn't it?
Le Mans any-one??? to me that's the model of a Italian shaft driven motocycle... |

Didn't you see how Button and Sato qualified that BAR car today!? If these guys don't make you say "Jaques who?", than I suspect there's just no hope. By the way, welcome aboard! |

No disrespect to JV fans, but no, i don't wish to see JV back. He's given all he could, can't deliver what he hasnt, and F1 won't be a poorer place without him, frankly.
Why isn't F1 the same with JV gone? Unless you mean how it suddenly become a teeny weeny bit more peaceful and friendly? Sato had so far delivered what BAR needed. There are also many other greater drivers around in the grid. (Of course, I'd like to see JV back if only becos lousy pay drivers are still given a seat and i want those lousy paying brats out) Wish him all the best in his future adventures in other form of motorsport. |

This is the last time I'm to revisit this topic but: Personally, I look forward to a rejuvenated JV return to F1. Too many (biased) naysayers in my opinion and frankly the character assassination employed by Richards disgusted me.
