If Warren has a good accountant then some creative book keeping may well have come into play. We'll likely never know.

Although no official statement has been made, Chilton has already said that he will be at Motorbase next season.

This wasn’t a discussion about money vs talent. It was about entry criteria for the BTCC. I was stating that there should be more to simply getting an International C licence and having a bucket of money, there should be relevant experience to avoid the situation where drivers without relevant experience embarrass themselves and/or BTCC as has happened in the past as you know. The top teams in BTCC carefully select their drivers, this cannot be said for all teams so defining relevant criteria would be good.

They can be un-filled easy enough. 50% right in Smith being announced in the MG. Rowbottom isn't in the MG, not sure whether his plans are BTCC or not now. Possibly the Audi? Find out laters...

Simpson has already started testing for 2019, so I wouldn't expect any more confirmation is required.

This is a good announcement, I like seeing Clio drivers move up, that’s how it should be.

Kind of surprised it’s not Max Coates considering his history with Cicely/Mac Tools but still, Dan is one of the decent drivers in the championship and the Mercs aren’t exactly back markers so hopefully it’ll translate to some decent results.

yes

Tingram has been with Speedworks for years and nealry bagged the title last year , Hill was linked to AMD last year and now with the Civics they really need a top class driver like him

Dynamics on the other hand have a lot more drivers to chose from and we didn't have any real snippet that Dan will continue with them

So there is no official confirmation of Ingram other than basing this on him being there for years (I seem to remember another driver last season who had been with his team for years, nearly got a title and then was offered a drive at a better team that led to all sorts of issues).
And as for Hill other than heresay there has been no official announcement from him or AMD for 2019, and how do we know its not a TPC Audi prep'd by AMD he is interested in?

Will be a shame if he has replaced Oliphant he was really getting to grips with BTCC towards the end of the season.
