March 721

I have bought March 721 chassis no 4, the ex Eifelland /Stomelen car, later raced by John Watson for Hexagon.
Who knows anything about this chassis whereabouts between John Watson and John Brown, who had it before me ?

I came across this post whilst researching a car my late father worked on during his time at Hexagon. I have a picture of him working in an engine of a car I believe to be the one the OP has purchased. I hope it's ok to upload the photo? I'll log onto my pc and do it later, but I'd be keen to see any other images of the car in question whilst it was owned by Hexagon.
Thanks

I'd be very interested in seeing the picture as I'm doing a history of Rudolf's car for him. IF you're having trouble posting it, send it to allen@oldracingcars.com and I'll post it up for you.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Sorry have not been on sooner. Anyway, below is the image of what I believe to be the March 721 - as I understand it, my father rebuilt it to make it competitive, and it was raced by John Watson in around 1973. It doesn't show the car much, and so would be keen to see pictures of it around the same time.

Thanks
Martin

Thanks for the date info Allen.
Do you know of any pictures of the car around this time? Has anyone contacted Paul Michaels at Hexagon to see if he has any info on the car? I am sure he is still there as I contacted him after my father's death.
Thanks again
Martin

Hi Allen
Can you tell me what was happening at Brands Hatch on 22 Oct 1972? Do you know who was driving the car at the time?
My father was involved with quite a few cars during his lifetime, I have included some images online HERE.
Thanks
Martin

It's all here: http://www.oldracingcars.com/f1/car.php?CarID=721/4

I did talk to Paul Michaels some years ago about the car. After he owned it, it went to the US.

In Germany a car has surfaced that is claimed to be the "Eifelland-March".
The owner maintains that he built it up around a crashed monocoque.

These claims are wrong and fraudulent.
The Eifelland Replica has been newly built from scratch. The monocoque is brand new and not even an exact replica of the March monocoque more a lookalike.
