Gold Coast Indycars - who is going?

Well it's time for the street fight again. I'm a starter, anybody else interested in meeting up at the track?

Well, I was going to go, but now...

Nah, I'm hoping to be there, Moff. Probably on the Saturday, if nothing else. I'll keep you posted, anyway...

I'll be there.

Dannyboy, you going to actually be there this time, cos I'm still waiting for the last time we were meant to meet at Indy.

Hey, that was work that prevented me from going last time; I don't work at DJ's any more, so weekends aren't a problem. Probably go down for the Saturday.

I was going to go maybe Thursday and Friday, but now I've got some work, so that's out. I'll be there, fingers crossed!!

Crash,

I was looking forward to meeting up with some members at the curcuit after really enjoying meeting AJ and Mount at Bathurst. But...

Unfortunately I am now not a starter! The irony is I will be in Brisbane on Saturday (driving up Friday night)but now need to be back in Coffs on Sunday. And the Gold Coast race I have been committed to for 51 weeks. I guess it is just the final week that counts.

All the best for you and Elephino working at the media centre, and Paul Tracey to win.

I am now turning my attention to Melbourne next year - watch out Wrex.

With a bit of luck I'll be down there on Sunday.

Can anyone tell me about the general admission areas - I mean is it worth going? How early should I be there by? Where is the best place to watch from?

It's well worth going

Depends what you want to go for...if you get there fairly early you can walk around a bit, and take in a fair few corners...but by about midday, the place is chockers. Try and grap a spot at the Fosters Esses (the last set of chicanes on the beach side). For a bit of atmosphere, head to the Honda Hill

I'me managed to score a 4 day General admission pass, but it's really mad at work, so i'll be there on Saturday and Sunday only.

Man this really sucks.

I'd like to meet you guys. I figure you all owe me a beer or two by now. Bloody mother-in-laws (don't ask!)

Well, peeps, I'm an almost-definite starter for Saturday and if anyone is willing to get me there, Sunday would be nice as well...

I'll get my mother-in-law to get the sisters of mercy to give you a ride Dan.

Damn it's the TV for me. And Tracey will win. And no Gold Coast Girls.

Well....no one wanted to meet me...but if you saw a guy wearing a Mark Webber hat (usually backwards to take photos) that was probably me.
