James Murray should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I'm only quoting the regs which are below.

http://www.hscc.org.uk/resources/HF2...cal%202008.pdf

http://www.hscc.org.uk/resources/DBT...egs%202009.pdf

Strictly speaking in DBT a B48 should run in the invitation class and to the letter of the law a B48 isn't eligible for Euro F2 unless it raced in 78 late on.

Agreed on the RT2/Osella etc being able to run DBT as would also qualify for invitation class. They need to tidy up the rules as DBT dont want ground effect cars hence the cut off date for f2/atlantic classes.

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
will look later at regs frankly speaking the hscc DBT races have so few cars running they should open it up for all F2 3 FA FSV cars pre 85 and fill out the grid
it does not encourage me to want to spend mony and go race there

There is so much BS with historic racing personal vested interests involved that certain parties do not want other cars in
why have 14 cars on average racing when you can have 25 or so
only full grids are june july historic festivals and OP gold cup races= Scandelous

Euro F2 is made up now of 2 sereies pre 72 cars and 2 litre F2 so go figure!

The prototype B48 did race in 1978 being driven by Patrese and Rosberg.

the regs do allow cars into EuroF2 if it is not a GE car so interpetation is a 1979 built car that is not GE is eligible

Steve

Patrese did indeed drive a B48 at the Japanese F2 round at Suzuka in 1978 but I do not recall Rosberg driving at that end of the season. He only did a couple of races at the start of the year before going to Theodore and F1??

But only if it was built and raced in 78. Not a problem then for B48 then as one was raced in 78 as Steve says. Get it going Kevan and show us all how good they are!!

i have no interest to spend money on a customers car to race
Your a chevron family man i will leave it to you after all you now have a pocket of dosh looking to spend on a car !

I have 782 i can waste money on but i already have a nice F2 car to race but some folk would rather have 12 cars in DBT than open up the class to pre 85 for 2 litres and get fuller grid

i interpret rules to be any 79 car that is not GE can also race
if that is NOT the case then list of elgible cars must be instigated then
