In Corsica (what a nice country!) they used to make and drink alcool de myrthe but now it seems they've rather Limoncello. I remember this home made myrthe thing can produce many secondary effets the first being headache! My translator gives myrtle think its correct, yes?

Haven't tried it there but it is something that is made in Devon and Cornwall. Reinforcing the links between Bretahne and those counties.

Thanks for the links, Chris. Is it me only or how would you rate the images quality? OK, no sound due to a technical issue to be fixed soon.

Sound is working now. Re quality it is good for me.... in the youtube settings (the gear shaped thing at the bottom of the video).... click that and you will see maybe a Quality heading and a list of resolutions.... ensure it is set to 1080p HD and not on auto. If on Auto it may automatically pick a lower quality like 720 or 480.

Thanks, merci mon pote!
What I did notice is that any advert like Monaco GP or Casino, Crédit Suisse, TAG or whatever are pin-sharp images and not cars. What is crystal clear is the difference between historics and modern: when Vettel is fighting to keep his underwear away from the instances at Miami you've a topless man driving at Monaco GP and he could be awarded by some majesty!!! |

My friend is in Monaco this weekend, not sure if he's had any sardines yet though! Probably not!

What a fantastic show it is, so many cars in working order specially the pre war stuff. Marshalls have been busy it seems they had a live training. One driver going the opposite way dans la montée de Beau Rivage was innovative if not a little bit scary!

Bathurst 12 hour about to start in the dark (Its 5:00am here race starts at 5:15am. This should be the International free live streaming link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ig_CaJUB29A If that doesnt work (I cant check, the live stream is for International use only and is Geo Blocked for me. (I get it live on regular TV) then try this page of the website https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/ne...hurst-12-hour/ 20 cars starting, sadly the Covid related date change clashes with other Euro races so many of the usual Internationals are not here with their cars, but its still Bathurst and 20 quick cars with plenty of International drivers . Le premier lien fonctionne parfaitement depuis l' Absurdistan français. Merci. Au fait, tu es rentré en Aus? Tout va bien côté Espagne?
Juste en passant, tu sais sur quel bouton cliquer pour ne plus avoir les sous-titres? C'est vraiment agaçant, ça me fascine et je ne peux profiter des images! |

Back in Aus now... been back just over a week.
Re the subtitles again on the youtube video window click the settings button (gear shaped thing) and you should see next to/below the quality heading, a subtitles heading with an on/off toggle. |

Should be another great event. Love having the cars of old round Monaco. Personally the 60s cars are the most exciting to race round there. But the others are also very good to watch

It originally said live at 4:15pm my time it would start, and was counting down to zero at that time. It got to zero at 4:15 my time I clicked on it and it said Opening shortly, please wait a moment.) That was over 4 hours ago. Now it says live at 1:15am (which is 4:15pm Pau time) for me too. Life goes on. Merde happens. I looked at the programme on their website and it showed private testing this morning so didnt hold my breath re the stream. It should be up by the time Legends of Pau (F1 / F2 / F5000 pré 79) is scheduled, at 17:00 local |
