F3000 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - Round 8, Hungaroring
Welcome to the Round 8 of the F3000 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!
We now enter on the last stages of the Competition. This time, the scenario is the Hungarian circuit of Hungaroring, situated on a valley near Budapest. Like Montecarlo, in this devious circuit overtaking is almost impossible, since it has many short straights followed by curves or chicanes and only one long main straight. Post your predictions for polesitter and the top 8 finishers. The deadline will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of Friday before the race. A detailed overview of the rules can be found here. Remember that the you can score points for this competition in this form: - 1 point awarded for predict the correct poleman; - 1 point awarded for each predicted driver who finishes in the top 8 in the race, with one point extra if that driver finishes in the position that you predicted. Best of all lucks for all! |

Alan told me before he went to South Africa for the Minardi 2-seater event that he will not be in F3000 with David's team any longer. Funds as usual no doubt.

Van der Merwe has been replaced at Super Nova by 41 year old Chanoch Nissany:
http://www.formula-3000.net/archive/2004081002.php Nissany is 17th on the grid for today's race. |

What a joke that someone like Nissany is even allowed by the FIA to enter the championship. Sometimes I feel like turning my back on motorsport and going on a long walk in the countryside....
