was watching this on motors tv, is there any point having a rally there?
from the TV there didnt seem to be any specatators, does anyone in Jordan know there is a rally on (or what a wrc rally is?) The onboard shots were really good, it looked very dangerous though, one stage seemed to have either solid rock face, huge boulders, or huge drops if you go off line. Shame no one would see the resultant crash and rescue you. |

I agree that rigging the running order should be banned - Ogier had a brilliant rally, possibly his best in the WRC so far, and really deserved that podium.
Possibly a bit extreme but if I where him I would start looking for possible drives for the future as I think the same this is going to happen many more times before the end of the season. |

What happened to the rule they had a few years ago whereby the first so many drivers got to pick their start position for the next day in leaderboard order? That solved the problem quite neatly and meant nobody had to engage in these sorts of shenanigans - not even the slowing down at the end of a stage to lose time.

Dredging an old thread up here, but it looks like this nonsense is back in the spotlight again after Jordan 2011.
