Speeddemon555 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Moto GP Title Run Over?

It looks like Valentino Rossi have the Moto GP title in his hands. He won another race in Portugal on a bad weather day. The title is his for this year.

In retrospect the title was Rossi's before the season started. The only other guy with a chance was his teammate and he was never going to beat him. Next year there are supposed to be a bunch of V5 Honda's so it should be much more competative, unless someone else makes a dominant bike. Maybe Bayliss on the Ducati?

Although Rossi has been his usual sensational self, I do feel this title is rather hollow because he has such an advantage over his rivals.....

Ducati won't be the ones to challenge next year, they will have to develop their bike. Suzuki or yamaha are the only contenders, but even then I think Tino will not have a terribly hard time of 2003. Even if Pons get the newer bike, nither Loris nor Alex is as good.

and a question ... who's replacing Biaggi at Yamaha .... The Suzuki won't challange .. not with Roberts ... Yamaha not a full season with Checa ... so remains the bikers with V5 Pons and Gresini .. and who ever gets them

Honda was good from the start of the season and they still have the best bikes on the track now. Along with Rossi it is a foregone conclusion. Second is almost certain for Ukawa too.

What i think would be nice:
- roberts back to yamaha would be nice (checa & roberts)
- biaggi on a V5 honda would be nice (erv kenimoto)
- nakano on a 4 stoke

Whos riding the Kawasaki anyway?

Apparently Alex Barros has been courted by Kawasaki to head their 2003 effort.
