Just got back from Oulton and the BTCC was hardly the most inspiring of races - maybe they should start taking lessons from the Clios who seemed intent on causing as much carnage as possible and Old Hall on the first lap was a competition in syncronised spinning - and can you believe they all carried on once they'd finished with their shennanigans Well, carried on as far as Knickerbrook anyway!!!
Back to the BTCC - did we actually see any overtaking while sat at Hilltop, if so it certainly wasn't worth noting. In the feature race Plato was one of the first pitstops and when he got ahead of Reid and Neal on the pitstops I was hoping he'd take the lead. Kirstensen was the last to stop and just got out ahead of Plato.
I thought we were going to see a Vauxhall win this weekend, but it didn't happen!
PS: Own up, who's nicked Muller's hat???

Ya know, I'd forgotten all about Rademacker taking 2nd in the sprint. Nice one Vincent, shame he couldn't have been one place higher.
But really, if we've to start cheering for the Belgium blokey at the track then he does need a shorter name

Just call him Vince.
By the way, if you want to congratulate him, or want to ask him anything else, you can e-mail him at vincent.radermecker@worldonline.be
He or his wife will respond to that, they're very friendly people.
