Maybe the +30kg is a new invention?

In any case, I was questioning their decision, especially the official motivation they used, even before we now heard they got +30kg for local homologation. After all, year after year, Engströms Hondas has shown to have (considerably) better pace than the Hartmans Hondas in ETCC. Last year Engström even outqualified Tommo and partially showed better race pace, and I don't think Engström in on par with Tommo as a driver.

My own guess about all this, they are driving the Hartman cars because things are run under the Harman flag, but the better car is in fact the Engström cars. It would just not be "politically correct" for just hired driver Engström to state "my own car is quicker". :P

These races were broadcast in Australia, and i have to say i enjoyed them immensly, race 1 was especially good.

While only 3 rounds, it is good to see a pan-European series that seems to want to cater for the privateers.
