I haven't been since the paddock switch but it takes such a long time to move everyone out of that area and back to the stands that they probably have to allow a lot of time.

3 day ticket booked, plus kids.
Still wavering over spa though. That's a LONG way for 2 days.
Sillystone's a 30 minute commute.

Appreciate I'm a bit further south than you but Spa's not a long way!

Previous years I've left early on Saturday, hit the tunnel in time for a coffee top up, mid morning snack outside Brussels, and at the track in plenty time for the race, then leisurely evening meal, and home on Sunday - often in time to catch the supermarket for the week's shop before they shut in the UK.

Martin Bull should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Tickets duly booked.

I'll have my fur-lined bootlaces on. I well remember 2005...

( Mind you, I remember the 1977 6-hours, too. It sleeted at one point, then poured with rain in the last hour and every car except one pitted for rain tyres. The BMW which stayed out on slicks was driven by Ronnie Peterson....).

We probably need this split off into a race thread.

Interesting things: KCMG, third OAK car (#45), and no Nakajima in #7.

Best route is just to head up the M2 and then join the m25 north using the dartford tunnel then M1 or m40, where are you staying

Join the M25 going clockwise. It's marginally longer but you can break up the trip with a couple of hours at the Brooklands musuem.

Where did that timetable come from? Looks a bit odd! WEC website has a timetable online that makes more sense.

Tickets arrived this morning so I'm a happy chappy today
