3 hour race which allows sports racers and cheap - this could make more sense than Spa

quite probably but a 3 hour race sounds better than 2 x 30 minute ones at Spa which is all HSCC can offer.
FISC are hotrods by the look of it but so are the 6 hour cars!!
As a clubbie on a budget I have to consider what bang I get for my buck and on the face of it this looks good value.. also probably better weather!!

To be frank, it's a challenging circuit, but Spa it ain't. Maybe it was me, but there didn't seem to be any real atmosphere, the village doesn't even have a boulangerie for my morning croissants fer chrissake!!!

I have raced and won at both; Spa has the straights, which make you look faster, but Dijon is a far more technical circuit; my choice would be Dijon.

Returning to Dijon there is a boulangerie around the corner. BTW my Google search resulted in 385.000 results

well I had a fantastic time at Dijon racing with Fisc in my FIA MGB on hysterical tyres . Had almost 2 1/2 hours on track for £475 and finished 28th out of a grid of 42 . The paddock was absolutley packed with most european nationalities (we were in an outer paddock Colin) all getting on really well and all peeing in the same hedge , there were toilets but they didnt get used much. No its not the same as Spa but why should it be , Spa is fantastic in a fast car , Dijon is fantastic in any car.
Colin I did come to say hello but you were out every time I visited.
Just can't wait to go back.
