The Eye should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Maybe you want to know that The London Masters have got some media attention in Sweden. Teknikens Värld’s (our No 1 motor magazine) internet issue have an article about the historic first rallycross race in London. Also on the SBF website (the Swedish auto sport federation) they have an article of the first race in London. And they have a short interview with the only foreign driver apart from a few Irish drivers , (I guess we have the same problem to part British and Irish as you have to part Swedes and Norwegians!?) “This can be really good Per Eklund say’s if they do it right. I have raced a lot in England and also I have been leasing out my cars to a few. The latest was the newly crowned British champion Ollie O’Donovan; he is a really good driver!! And then there is Christopher Evans. He has beaten both me and Hansen so he is very fast. Another fast driver is Dermot Carnegie, and he is two years older than me!!!! The rules are not the same as we are used to and I do not get it all but I expect to be on top at the end” say’s the 61 year young Rally/Rallycross legend.

Can anyone give an explanation as to why the doors open for the Motorsport Show and the rallycross at 10.00 am when practice for the rallycross starts at 9.30?
Call me a sad old git but I like to be there early to watch the practice as well as the racing .....and before you start Bert....yes it gives you a chance to enjoy a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit with those nice people you may know in the paddock

Usually a good idea - quite often some of the Supercars/Div1s don't get any further than practice so it's the only chance you get to see them!

If I'm going it'll be on Saturday (working on the car Sunday ), not 100% sure if I going to make it or not yet. Does anyone know if the show element of the weekend is any good? (Not that I'd see much anyway - why go indoors when there's rallycross on? )

show gates open at 10am, rx gates open at 9.30am. you can buy tickets for both at both gates, so get there early and watch the practice too

I will take your word for it daz2202 but on the London MotorSport Show web site the rallycross doors open at ten the same as the Show itself.
Already got the tickets so don't need to queue to buy them.

rallycross ebay fraud

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ayphotohosting

mods: please do not remove this.

someone is offering an arrive and drive with supported mechanics for stockhatch at london for £500. It must be a fraud as the car is a pic of steve corks at superprix and he is not renting out his car cos he is booked in to race. he has also spoken to chris cake and peter stott and they know nothing about it either. THIS GUY ALSO ONLY ACCEPTS PAYPAL

anyone heard of a 'crazyswales' from scarborough???

any news either pm me or post up. thanks

That also sounds far too cheap including tyres, entry fee, fuel, two mechanics and hire of the car. Would expect it to cost far more than that. Bidding has ended for it, with no bidders, so we might not hear from them again.

I have had dealings with Crazyswales on ebay, he was no problem, think hes a mechanic for one of the stockhatch teams, certainly a rallycross man.

the owner of the car (steve cork) has got to the bottom of it, he's worked out who, how and why. he is not over chuffed about it as you can imagine.

back on an enjoyable front, I can't wait for the weekend now. any fresh news or new entries anyone know about

Just to clarify this - there are no Group B cars racing at the London Masters this weekend.
