Herbert in works Audi
Johnny Herbert is set to drive a works 2002 spec Audi R8 at Le Mans this year.
He will partner Laurent Aiello and Rinaldo Capelli in Junes event. He may however continue to drive with Champion Audi in selected ALMS events although he will not drive at Sebrings 12 hour race. |

Yes, I saw that too, Paul. Excellent news. As I've followed Johnny and Andy Wallace since their FF and F3 days (respectively), I always look out for them especially.

If he were to win, it would certainly make another Audi victory a little more bearable.
Lets just hope that if he does come in first, he makes it to the podium this time, (keep your fluid content up Johnny)! |

It's nice to see Johnny getting some decent breaks in motorsport lately. I've only just switched over from the relatively dull and mundane F1 sport to the more exciting Sportscar world so my knowledge is at the minimum at the moment but driving alongside Aiello and wee Dindo is no bad thing in an Audi at least. Superb chance for Johnny to walk away with a victory if not the podium. Great news.
