The N 138 is funny : this is the number of the Le Mans-Tours road : the Hunaudières straight !

Very nice, but not a very accurate representation of the current track - perhaps it's not supposed to be?

Drool over the shirts if you want, but they're just a couple of T-shirts. The graphics are small, and the colors aren't vibrant.

I think it is pretty accurate, but it's sort of shown in perspective and a bit 'stylised'. Plus the hilly bits aren't represented. Still nice though.

Chevyguy, I'll admit I bought one and the blue the track is printed in is much more vibrant than it looks on screen – look out for me next weekend!

Karl, sue them!

I think Ayse is right (still haven't figured out the da si yet) about representation, though - the Porsche curves look ok, but not the Ford chicanes, and definitely not the new Dunlop curves.

Hmmm... looks like the 2000-2001 track representation. The new section after the Dunlop Bridge was introduced last year.

That's never the chicanes, surely? But leaving them aside, somehow it just doesn't quite look right. IMO....

Ayse (figured it out, btw - dopey me) - look at a good map of the pre-2002 circuit (say, racingcircuits.com) and it starts to look ok. The perspective tends to squash the run from PC/maison blanche to the start-finish.

It's got a lot of perspective added to it, and it's at an angle. That exaggerates the length of the Mulsanne-Indianapolis section. The chicane's are there, look OK to me.

Karl, pirenzo, I think if anyone's been ripped off for the logo it would be the French government. Isn't that essentially their official highway marker?

The_fury, you precised in your profile the same link as this one above leading to the tee-shirt catalogue : are you making them yourself, or are you involved in the making of them ?

You're quite right of course Fab, I missed that - I was looking too closely at the track on the shirt.

We need an answer from you, the_fury - if it's your site/company etc., either Fab or I will have to move the thread to Cool Sites (I don't think we need to delete it though).
