The competition is now CLOSED. Thank you to all the Ten-tenthers who entered - look out for the results in the 22nd December Christmas double issue of MN - as well as the winners we will also be publishing a selection of the best of the rest.

I've been very impressed with the quality and variety of entries, keep snapping, and look out for next year's competition!

Ah - you'll have to buy MN and find out! The resolution of a lot of the pictures supplied was good enough for print. But please bear in mind that I've received over 200 pictures!

Dam I wish I knew about this a couple of days earlier.

I got some stunners from Silverstone F1 Testing in September with my Cannon 10D.

Next year.....

unless you can accept a late entry?

ah well... fair enough, you have deadlines to meet.

I'll console myself by taking further stunners when ever I take to the track.

I might besige you with emails too

Mine's the truck picture top right. Wasn't even one I was originally going to send, and not what I thought was the best of those I sent.

Anyone else get in ?

I will give away my anonimity (!!) and admit (a little bit ashamedly seeing as it wasn`t actually of a vehicle!) that mine was the 3rd placed pic.

I probably feel a little like Redshoes in that I didn`t think it was my best shot out of the few I submitted. I think my "arty" side got the better of me with that one! Very chuffed to get a mention nonetheless!

Out of the others I thought Redshoes shot was one of the better ones (no intentional sucking-up!). I also liked the flying stockcar and the twighlight Xsara shot.

Anyone else out there or were we the only 2??..............

Yep. Near the back. Be careful how you go though.... there are some slightly disturbing pages as you approach the competition results!!! (snigger - I know it`s all in good humour really....).

I'm the Lost in France Audi. Lost in Silverstone actually as I took it during the 1000kms LMES race in September !

I'm chuffed they selected one of mine and I too didn't consider it the best I submitted, I suppose they were trying to strike a balance. Anyhow, the image quality is terrible ! This is a link to the actual image.

Hats off to Motorsport News though, my first published photo - only took 26 years too...

Merry Christmas to all you other frustrated snappers.

Congratulations.

That's still a nice picture, weather it is your best or not. Shame the print in MSN doesn't show the glowing brake disc very well.
