Randy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I heard this very sad news on Friday. Kremer was an absolute hero of mine and I thouroughly nice guy too. A very sad loss to our sport.

Very sad news indeed. He was a true sportscar stalwart, a real enthusiast and so entertaining with his stories you could listen to him for hours. Porsche Kremer Racing and their fantastic achievements will always be remembered.

The Brothers had fallen out with each other, Erwin had to buy Manfred out of the racing team so any reapperance will depend on what happens to the assets of the team.

I doubt very much we will ever see Kremer racing again.

Kremer racing for me a as teen in the late 70's early 80's, where the iconic Grp 5 team, whenever I saw the brothers Porsche K3 race I thought it would be the car to beat. There ambition to make there own cars, the CK5 and
917k etc never really lived up to the success of K3 but will stand out as wonderful cars.

The CK5 with its dorsal fin was, for me, one of the highlights of the 1982 season, notable too for giving Stefan Bellof his first taste of a sportscar.

Kremer gave a lot to sportscars through the 70s, 80s, and 90s so thanks for the memories Erwin. Rest in peace.
