In theory the two ET (Einpress Tiefe) values you show are the same- zero offset. No idea why they have been expressed differently. Is it same manufacturer?

Yes Mike, thanks for taking care. Compomotive wheels leave your continent with ET0 and land here with ET00. Brexit, taxes or may be they think French are so thick they have to repeat? It started with a research for light wheels, 7x13, 4x108 pcd and ET as close to 0 as possible. 0 is close, 00 is very close!

I confirm your French must be horrible, Iain. Last time you ordered a clutch disc for an elite you got one for an E Type!

Whoever wanted the Cheese and Bacon rolls must be a mite ****ed off. Especially if they were 1 each for 3 people. Google suggests: "Rouleau de poulet et salade et deux tartes aux pommes"* Whereas 3 cheese and bacon rolls: "trois roulés au fromage et au bacon" * Translating that back into Aussie I get "A salacious Roly Poly with 2 Pommy tarts". Seems to have gained something in the translation with each step ... |

You're right, it's already more than three months since Croix. This year has flown by incredibly quickly & that now looks like being my only race meeting this year. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms so will have to do better in 2020! |

Just returned from a great weekend at Dartmouth with some old friends, celebrating the 30 years since we all met at Britannia Royal Naval College. A “busy and tiring” weekend!
We also celebrated Britain’s greatest Naval victory, over the French and the Spanish at Trafalgar (sorry Gerard!)on this day 214 years ago. Ladies and gentlemen, a toast to “the immortal memory”. |

I like Dartmouth, some great pubs and of course, loads of seafood. Last year we stayed at the Bayard's Cove inn. Got relatives who live in Kingswear.

No worry at all, Andy, I've always been a great fan of your "admirable" Nelson! My French friends can't understand this…*What a live he got! Even with some parts missing he was the best. No doubt. Cheers! Well, chapeau bas!
Turnips? You said turnips! May be they felt from a sandwich bought in Dijon area? Or was it bacon… |

I recommend the Dartmouth Arms for good pizzas. It is a very good “run ashore”. And there is a steam train at Kingswear, too. As an aside, my mate and I went to Totnes on the saturday to see his boat in refit - a converted former Cowes-Torquay-Cowes powerboat racer from the 70s, i think. 5.5 litre inboard Mercury (Possibly Chevy based?) V8. Awesome bit of kit. One of the other members of the group is now the Training Commander at the Naval College. No one is more surprised that he got that job than him!! |
