Delighted for Turkington but absolutely gutted for Cammish. I doubt Turkington or anyone else would want to win that way.

Astonishing finish - can picture Gow with his finger on the "make brakes explode" button Turks a very deserving champ, and a great shame for Cammish, who has put in some amazing performances this year.

lol, that dropped his horn, and mid-celebration Cammish picked it up and gave it back to him, before borrowing it. He's too much of a gentleman to root against.

Not sure if Cammish had a brake problem from the start or if it was just a result of setup but the brakes didn’t stop glowing from lap 1 until he went off, horrendous way to lose the title, feel for him.

Cammish drove well all year and you can't hold his teammate's actions against him. I can't imagine how gutted he feels right now.
Turkington is a worthy winner, and by the skin of his teeth too! |

Colin celebrating in the pit lane whilst Cammish is stuck in a gravel trap in the middle of the woods.

What millstone will be reached first next year, Turks getting a record 5th championship or JP getting to 100 wins?

Meanwhile, apparently WSR had a new driver especially for Race 3...

That was an *epic* race. What a brilliant way to end the season and what a deserved championship. Turkington's drive was just brilliant.
Just saw the Cammish interview and I think he held himself pretty well. Congratulated Turkington and made some great points in general. Days like this remind me why I still have some love for the BTCC |

Yep, Cammish interviewed well there, regardless of what people think of Dynamics, Neal and that incident, you can’t argue with the fact Cammish is an excellent driver and a decent bloke.

What a rollercoaster of emotions today. After Race 2 and the controversy, seeing Race 3 unfold as it did was so tense.
So pleased for Turks and commiserations for Cammish. Our whole household turned Team Turks after Race 2 and after Neal/Team Dynamics appeared to have interfered it does seem karma surfaced and Team Dynamics/the car let Cammish down. But I tell you what, Cammish has gained a lot of new fans today, and I really hope we'll see him as 2020 BTCC Champion as he had a huge amount of talent and class. |

Cammish will get his title. In a way, it'll be better when he gets it without the cloud that would have been hanging over this one.

100% agreed there. I can imagine there is nothing worse than having a controversial moment not involving you potentially overshadowing your achievements.

You could see the glowing brakes so it wasn’t in my eyes a mechanical failure as result of bad luck, more probably due to set up putting too much stress through them.
They talked about Sutton and Jordan being friends in Race2, but never mentioned it in Race 3 when it could’ve started to make a difference if they’d swapped places. |

if Sutton let Jordan thru in race 3 it would have been one more point but still lost to Turks
he really needed another place or fastest lap |
