IPS Race Spoilers
From the IPS site;
HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- Rookie Phil Giebler, who didn't sign with Keith Duesenberg Racing until last week, won the Homestead-Miami 100 on Feb. 29. Giebler, sparring with Thiago Medeiros late in the race, passed him with five laps remaining on the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway. He pulled away with two laps remaining. Medeiros finished second for the second year in a row. Jesse Mason, another rookie, was third in the Brian Stewart Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone. Giebler, who turns 24 on March 5, didn't take his first laps in an IRL Menards Ininiti Pro Series™ car until the open test in Phoenix on Feb. 10. The California native competed in FIA International F3000 last year. He was third in the Spanish F3 Championship in 2002. He's also a former three-time national karting champion. So congrats to Giebler |

Good for Phil!
Well, if his F1 career doesn't pan out, he looks like he'll have one in the IRL! Thanks rusty... |
