Sutton looking good, but it's not over yet. Great weekend from Cook. Unlucky for Tingram at the end of R2, but great recovery in R3. Great defence from Morgan in R3, Turkington keeping his hand in the title fight with that second place. Another great weekend for Hill, when is he going to get that 2nd win?

In one of the races, Shedden was in between Edwards and another car (I can't recall who).

The car inside moved over slightly towards Shedden, who in response opened his steering slightly. Unfortunately, Edwards was partly alongside on the outside of Shedden and the subsequent contact resulted in both cars going off.

Ah Shedden. Presumably there won’t be screaming for bans etc or Dynamics rushing to cover the cost of the repair. The bloke seems to be in the centre of the crash action with worrying regularity, whilst his team mate quietly gets on with it

Trackside the fans don't like Shedden one ounce. The reaction of that crash yesterday said everything. Dynamics were a joke yesterday.

This is just not so; Sutton is only 30 points ahead of Ingram which is only one and a half race wins with 12 races still to go. Just one bad weekend for Ash could turn it all around provided that Ingram, Turkington et al. make good on Sutton's misfortune.

Anyone heard anything about Power Maxed? Saw a picture on Facebook earlier with their logo changed to "PMR - Punched My Racer"

Shedden was unlucky in my opinion for the race 3 incident. 9 times out of 10 that would have been a harmless brush of contact and not affected anything, it looked like his rear wheel just caught Jade's wheel at exactly the wrong time. Things just aren't falling his way at all. Although I do believe he is trying too hard. Still impressed with Rowbo, it's a shame he didn't have the car for the race 1 win.

Sutton is a class above the rest. Only Mr Gow can stop him now.

I do wonder if Jade Edwards has the budget to complete the season? A lot of damage to sort on her car after race 3. She seemed to struggle for a full Clio season in previous seasons.

Had some awful luck this year and I’m fearful she might not be back. Like Jack Butel she’d been getting quicker and more consistent I thought. Rick P Jr also had a much better weekend it seemed.

Team Hard drivers also not had much luck at Thruxton.

he is 37 points ahead of Cook (the now 3rd placed guy) that's nearly 2 wins while Ash not scoring for 2 races

like Owy said, they enginneered that car so well that he can place it where he likes it without losing momentum almost like it runs on wider tires

and now seems Tingram has the same woes as Turkington has when runing on ballast they qualify poorly and race 1 they can't really move foward while Sutton is capable to do that , it's really a no-win situation

Also seen it but not sure why PMR would do anything like that when Edwards drives for BTC. Tbh shedden would have deserved it.

thing with being unlucky with wrong place/wrong time is you can be unlucky once or twice. when it starts to happen that frequently it's not unlucky any more.

It was alleged that the team boss came very close to punching his senior driver, but didn't. Tweet has been taken down as someone didn't see the funny side of the play on words!

Nothing against him and no reason anything should hold him back, but after however many years he's been in the BTCC I just feel embarrassed for him. Should he automatically get given a F1 seat then?

(also, R1 DNF, R2 last finisher 20+secs off car in front, R3 last finisher 7+secs off car in front with 3 safety cars... in his 3rd or 4th full season)

He hasn't automatically been given anything though. He did Clios then moved into btcc. Who cares. He turns up with the budget and at least he's giving it a go not just giving up when people criticise him.
