Well the new GXP.R's had an excellent first outing! 2nd and 4th in their first race and a 24hr to boot!

I thought the car looked great. I agree that it's strange having a non production based car in a production based class. This type of thing is as old as sports car racing though. There is just about always a car that either the competitors, the fans or both don't believe is within the spirit of the rules. And for the record I'm all for the sillouhette cars. I mean. How many people here hate the Porsche 935s? As long as only the rear wheels are turning under power I'm happy.

First question. What the hell is a pram?

Second question. What the hell is a DP doing on the track with street cars?

From what I heard from mechanics, the Banner Motorsports GXP.Rs were brand new builds, but the Racer's Edge GXP.R was a TRG GTO.R with new bodywork.

The Video was at 145 going into the braking zone, with the DP flying by at 160

It was a test session track day on VIRginia Internation Race way sponsored by the DP team. and My car is not exatly a street car.
