Gosh even the production team wasn't interested in seeing if a privateer could overtake a toyota on lap one. Granted gte is close but I feel that was the one time we would have had a non-Toyota leading.

Toyota will be looking to put some space between themselves and the non hybrid P1's just in case there are issues later in the race. Its absolutely Toyota's race to lose.

Super fast laps by Toyota on Lap 2. 3:17 like it was nothing, I don't think the normal LMP1 guys will be able to do race laps under 3:20 with any consistancy.

Its the CONSISTENCY they should be looking for, run your race, turn your laps and do it for 24 hours straight. Let Toyota abuse there cars all they want, its a long race.
