New RfH livery

Today I saw the design of the new Racing for Holland Dome in one of Haarlem's racing fan shops. While it is partly a return to the old black and white scheme the livery will be...a football!!! I guess this will match the World Cup feelings in June...

It is not a secret that Jan is a great fan of football. He had similar ideas last year I recall. We do have a few pictures of the possible new livery but will wait to post them as some sponsors/ideas on the photo's were not confirmed at the time we took the pictures. TBC.

More like hexagons and pentagons, old fashioned football style.

Um, not crazy about that livery. Oh well...

One thing is for certain, it will have no trouble sticking out in a crowd!

An improvement on the checkerboard or last year's factory red spot look, but I don't really like it. I'd rather see RfH extrapolate their orange livery of last year towards something completely "normal". Does Jan give up on finding a title sponsor early and create these liveries instead? I can only think they are detrimental to encouraging a major sponsor to get on the car...since the entire design would need to be altered.

As I have witnessed the car at full speed at the 2003 Le Mans but I have to admit I quite like the new "football" livery!

The team will also test in two weeks (HTTT).

Will Jan continue with the hydraulic suspension system he used at Le Mans last year, Sander?

The last time I saw the car, I think it was three weeks ago, they did not mount the 'hydropneumatic interconnected suspension system' developed by Creuat but were planning for a further testing on a dyno or so. So it looks they are still investing in the system - the idea is still briliant - but I am not sure if they will run with the system in France next week. I will drop some books at the workshop this week and will ask Jan if he can comment..

Thanks Sander. Let's hope the development work carried out on the hybrid since last year has been successful. It would be good to see Jan matching the Pescarolo's for pace this year!
